The SMARTLOCK © is a unique locker that has been developed exclusively by 4xFourART for the Suzuki Grand Vitara. This locker provides up to 100% locking action to the wheel with traction, even if all the other three wheels of the vehicle have lost traction. Compared to other lockers that provide this level of transfer to one axle the risk of damage or axle breakage is minimal with this locker.

 

It operates only in 4WD mode and is not engaged in 2WD conditions on asphalt. The result is that the handling is not negatively affected on the road and especially when cornering.
